I'd like to remind everyone that safety is an important issue in our subdivision. We all watch the news and see the unfortunate things that happen in our world. Please remember to do the following and talk to your neighbors about doing the same. 1) Leave the lights on. If we all work hard at having outside lights on it helps keep would be robbers and vandals away. You can put the energy saving bulbs in for about $1 each. I did that 3 years ago and have not replaced a bulb yet. 2)Remind kids to watch for cars. We will never be able to keep them out of the street, but we can talk to them about moving to the sidewalk when there is a car. It is the responsibility of the parent to watch the kids but it's ours to help. Finally, if you see behavior that looks suspicious or destructive call the non-emergency police number 454-7531. If we all do these 3 small things Stonecreek will be the safest neighborhood in Caldwell.
